Buckhead Auto Sport Provides The Best Land Rover Repair Services

The British made Land Rover is the embodiment of an adventurous spirit . In 1956, the creators of the Land Rover sponsored the Oxford and Cambridge Far Eastern Expedition—AKA the coolest, college road trip in history. The Oxford and Cambridge Far Eastern Expedition could only have been dreamt up over a late-night beverage or two, in a typically ambitious university ploy.

The route was formidable, carving through lands where several other teams had tried and failed. Setting off from Hyde Park in London, the Land Rovers headed through Europe, the Middle East and Asia, before arriving in

Singapore from Thailand and Malaysia. Using initiative, persuasion and very little money, the six Oxford and Cambridge students meticulously planned the journey of a lifetime – one that would stand unrivalled to this day.

Sound like a road trip you would go on?

You’ve found the perfect car in your Land Rover. Land Rovers are made for roaming over tough terrain. But even the toughest automobiles require good upkeep to keep them on and “off” the road.

While rotating the wheels on your Land Rover and checking your fluids often can contribute to a better performing vehicle, it is always best to also know your vehicle’s scheduled maintenance to ensure peak performance. Maintenance for your Land Rover should be done every 15,000 miles or once a year, whichever comes first.

  • Windshield wiper blade inspection
  • Windshield washer fluid level checked
  • Wheels and tires inspected
  • Road test
  • Underbody inspection
  • Power steering system fluid level checked
  • Parking brake inspected
  • Crankcase oil filter replaced

  • Cooling system fluid level checked
  • Crankcase fluid changed
  • Cabin air filter replaced
  • Brake system and fluid level inspected
  • Body hinges, latches, and locks inspected
  • Additional Maintenance Items

Every other inspection (30,000 miles, 60,000 miles, etc.) should also include the following items:

  • All items from the 15,000 mile
  • Wiring harness inspected
  • Suspension inspected
  • Steering system inspected
  • Seat belt restraint system inspected
  • Power steering hoses inspected
  • Fuel lines inspected
